Iroko (Milicia excelsa and Milicia regia)

Iroko (Milicia excelsa and Milicia regia) is a tropical hardwood harvested primarily from West and Central Africa. It’s sometimes referred to as "African Teak" because it shares many characteristics with genuine teak but is more affordable and readily available.

Iroko timber is an excellent, cost-effective alternative to teak, prized for its durability, rich colour, and resistance to the elements. Whether for luxury outdoor furniture or solid indoor joinery, it's a robust and long-lasting material.
